St Mary's is a Church of England
Voluntary
Controlled Infant School for 4 - 7 year olds. It is
situated in the rural village of Shackleford, on the outskirts of Godalming, Surrey. There are currently 73 children on roll, in
three classes.
At St Mary's we
aim to create a love for learning in each child that will be life-long. We
believe that this is possible by producing a range of inspirational teaching and
learning experiences within a safe, caring and vibrant environment.
Our curriculum is
exciting, up-to-date and practical with an emphasis on the development of
creativity across the curriculum.
We believe that
our school environment reflects our success in learning, providing a well
resourced and organised place to be with up-to-date technology.
As a church
school we promote caring for each other and learning together and believe links
with the church, local community and the wider world are essential.
We believe
children learn best when they are happy. We hope that this website will give you
a clear understanding and vision of how we are "Creating a Love for Learning" at
St Mary's.
