St Mary's is a co-educational, Church of England Controlled Infant School providing for the needs of 4 - 7 year olds. It is situated in the rural village of Shackleford, on the outskirts of Godalming, Surrey. There are currently 70 children on roll, in three group classes.

The school has a high reputation for its standards of teaching and the way in which it encourages children to live, learn and grow in a happy, caring and peaceful environment. Our 1996, 2000 and 2006 Ofsted reports speak for themselves. We were listed as one of the outstanding  schools in the Inspector of Schools Report 2000, held Beacon status from 2001-2004 and were awarded Investors In People status in March 2005. Our 2006 report states that the School has made very good progress since the last inspection.
