At St Mary's we teach a range of PE and sport skills including, gymnastics, fencing, hockey, multi-skills and tennis. Some of these skills are funded through the Sports Premium led by outside professionals.
At St Mary's we teach a range of IT skills which are linked with the curriculum themes. We now have Learn Pads which are used on a weekly basis to fulfil the computing curriculum.
As a church school we teach RE using the county guidelines which includes some world religions e.g. Islam and Judaism. Our school presents the Christian values through the environment, assemblies and through the family nurturing ethos that is evident throughout the school.
We have collective worship/assemblies four times a week with fortnightly assemblies alternating between the Vicar and the "Open Book" Group from the Guildford Churches Group. We have special services at the church to celebrate Christmas and Easter.
We are linked with the Diocesan Board in Guildford and have Anglican Church Inspections (SIAMS) every 5 years.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
